2010 Fall Festival Events

Food Booths More Info
Food is a main attraction for all attending the Festival. Most of the food booths are comprised of non-profit or not-for-profit groups from all over the area. Please help support your community as this is the major fundraiser during the year for the majority of the organizations represented.

Dog Events More Info
The dog events returns this year! We will have a Costume Contest, Dog Trick Contest, and Relay Races. Cost for entry is to donate something of the Supply Drive List. All donations will be sent to Tails For Troops which provides Service Dogs for U.S. Veterans. Please come and give to this great cause. This will be on Saturday and Sunday.

Entertainment
The free entertainment enables families to come and enjoy themselves, without spending a lot of money. The variety of entertainment enables all ages to have a good time.

Music

We have live music on the stage on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

We will have a DJ spinning the tunes on Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm.

Mike Lynch takes the stage on Saturday 3 to 5 pm at the Entertainment Stage in front of the Jr. High.

Second Wind
Sunday Noon -1 pm and after the Parade  

Fireworks
The fireworks will be on Saturday night and is sponsored by Stillman Bank. There is plenty of parking around the area where you can watch from your car, or you can sit in the stands at the football field and enjoy a great view.

Car Show More Info
The Car Show is held on Saturday and is one of the biggest in the area. We have entries from all over the area. There are 23 class divisions to view. Food is available and the grounds are handicap accessible. Take the FREE shuttle bus from downtown to the Car Show.

Fire Engine Rally and Swap Meet More Info
This is a NEW event this year. There will be antique and modern fire apparatus displays, vendor displays, and a swap meet for all things related to fire protection. This event will be at the Stillman Valley Fire Station on Saturday. Take the FREE shuttle bus from downtown to the Fire Station.

ParadeParade

The Sunday parade always has a huge attendance and is the highlight of the Festival. We always have a nice variety of entries and the whole town gets involved. Please make sure you bring a bag for the many entries that toss candy to the spectators.

Carnival More Info
Games and carnival rides are available for all ages: small children to adults. Parents can put their children on the small rides or they can ride with them on the bigger rides. Teenagers love to enjoy the excitement of a good carnival ride. We have a wristband special on Friday and Saturday where you can ride all you want for one price.

 

RC Racing
Bring your radio controlled cars to the track inside the tennis court area by the Flea Market. The track will be open from 11 to 5 pm both days. There will be organized races at 1pm and 3pm on Saturday and at 3pm on Sunday. Bring your cars and have some fun. There will be ribbons given to the winners in each age group. 5 and under, 6-13, 14-17, and 18 and up. Electric and gas cars of all scale are welcome.


Indoor Craft Show
More Info
You will find craft booths offering a variety of hand made items for your enjoyment, or to purchase. There are many wooden crafts, hand sewn, painted items to purchase for yourself or for gifts. You will find antiques, old collectibles, new collectibles, useful items, in the many booths in the school gym. Homemade baked goods are also available. This show is all indoors where it is dry and warm.

Flea Market More Info
Visit the Flea market area and find some treasures. There are items for sale for all ages.

Horticulture Show
More Info
Farmers from across the area bring their award winning entries to be judged. These items are on display during the rest of the Festival for all to see. Come and see some of the wonderful produce from the farms around Stillman Valley.

Baking Contest

The baking contest is full of great sights and smells on Saturday. This event is FREE this year. After the judging, the items are on display for a short time before they are picked up.

Tractor Show More Info
Anything is welcome: tractors, lawn mowers, hit and miss engines, implements, etc, any make, model, or year. Restored or right off the farm. Come and look at the old iron.
